All about Camping and getting outdoors in Arizona with kids: Campground reviews with the family in mind, information, ideas, opinions, unsolicited advice and photos galore!

I tell you everything I know about each campground, candidly and thoroughly. I have personally visited each site I review, so I can give you the inside dope and lots of photos so you can see for yourself.
One of my greatest joys of camping is watching my kids experience it. Also, camping with little kids can have additional considerations to no-kid camping (see the Take Your Kids Camping post). Therefore, I write the campground reviews and offer other info from the perspective of camping with kids; talking about “big boulders to climb” or “camping toys”, and “don’t forget butt cream” for example. However, I hope the scoops in here are useful for everyone who loves to camp.
Camping in Arizona has truly opened my eyes to a magic you can experience no where else. So, find your little piece of heaven, build a fire (that you don’t leave unattended), climb a tree, and live large in spectacular, beautiful Arizona.
